3、帮助孩子听写单词,纠错。

下午好:

很高兴能有这样一个机会,能和大家进行面对面的交流。我是五年级的英语任课教师,我姓肖。下面我就我们英语学习方面说我一些真实的感言:

在英语课堂上,大部分学生都能很活跃的回答老师提出的问题,积极跟着老师读单词,读课文。其实这也制造了一种象,学生认为自己常常被老师提问,认为自己能够回答老师的问题,于是认为自己的英语学得很不错,自我感觉特别好。于是下课后在英语上花的时间就少了。其实要学好英语,课上占40%,其余的60%还需要学生在课后不断的巩固,加深记忆。在课上老师更多的是新知识,当然课上也会有少量的时间巩固新学的知识。但是这些时间是公共的时间,而不是每个学生私有的时间,所以不可能照顾到每个学生,不可能让所有学生都达到相同的程度。况且每个学生对新知识得接受能力都是不同的,有的可能当堂就已经有很深的印象,很难忘记,但这肯定是很少的。大部分学生都只能是初步接触了新知识,要真正接受新知识还要学生在课后多下功夫,不然肯定会和别的同学拉下距。

那么在课后学生到底该怎么做才能把其余的60%补回来呢?学好英语,不外乎就是在听、说、读、写这些方面下功夫。

首先说一下听,每个学生都有和书相配套的磁带,可是请各位家长检查一下自己的子女的英语磁带,有多少学生的磁带还是和刚发的时候一样的,根本就没有听过。光靠上课听一点点的磁带,学生的听力根本就不能有什么发展。不会听就不能说,不能说英语就白学了。

每上完一次课,我都叫学生回家要跟磁带读,可是有多少学生真地做到了呢?所读的知识已经学过了,跟录音机读应该是提高自己的听力和口语表达能力,要学生尽力地去模仿录音机里的发音,从而使自己的听力和口语都提高一个层次。

接下来是说,英语学了就是要说,要和别人交流。在课上我会用各种方法来学生,激发他们说英语的积极性,大多数学生也确实做得很好。可是班级里人多,对每个人来说,说的机会就少。所以下课也要说,放学回家也要说。在学校,我鼓励学生把所学的英语对话运用到生活中去,这样有更真实的情景,更能让学生有发挥的余地。在家里,希望家长也能鼓励学生说英语,也许你会说你自己也听不懂,请不要这样想,其实学生需要是你的鼓励,你听了他们说的只要简单表扬一句,他们就会很满足了。有时候你们也可以不懂装懂,或者还可以让学生反过来教你,他们会觉得很自豪,因为自己所学得派上了用场。

接下来是读。学英语要培养语感,也就是语言的感觉,如果有很好的语感,那么不管是说话,做题目,都很轻松,很简单了。那么语感怎么来呢?就是靠读出来的。一定要让学生养成每天读英语的习惯。如果你的子女还没有养成这样的学习习惯,请你一定要督促他,刚开始也许会比较难,时间久了,就会习惯成自然。就像早上起来要刷牙洗脸一样,要让他们把读英语当作每天必做的一件事。

是写。五年级英语已经对学生有一定的书写要求。背单词是学英语的必经之路。单词往往背过就容易会忘记,所以要不断的背,不断的翻新,这是没有办法的。我要求学生在背单词的时候要边拼边写,嘴巴和手都要动起来,嘴上十遍不如手上一遍。还有句型,五年级所接触的巨型都是很简单的日常用语。学生应该在课上领会句型的意思和运用方法。可后还需要通过多读课文,多练习才能巩固所学的句型。所以请各位家长不光要注重孩子背单词的情况,还要让他重视句子的重要性。

总而言之,请各位家长多关注孩子们的英语学习,让孩子养成良好的英语学习习惯。家长的重视会让学生增加信心,提高学生的学习积极性。与其在期末时看到大家都不愿看到的不理想的分数,还不如在平时就多关心孩子学习的过程。还希望家校携手共同提高孩子们的英语学习水平。我要讲的就是这些,谢谢!

一、培养孩子自觉听录音的习惯。家长可以每天固定一个时间让孩子听教学录音磁带,并鼓励孩子大声读出来,有条件的家长也可和孩子一起听录音、跟读,相互做问答练习,还可以和孩子一起讲故事、分角色表演故事,以此激发孩子的学习兴趣,并帮助他们养成良好的学习习惯。

三、培养孩子主动用英语说的习惯。说是孩子掌握英语多少的一个重要表现,也是孩子学好英语的关键,从现在就鼓励孩子多用英语说,比方一些简单的一些英文的会话啊,像“再见、您好、早上好,下午好,晚安”等等这些日常简单的英语短句,家长可以不时的问问小朋友应该怎么说啊,能不能教教爸爸妈妈啊,这样让他们做做小老师,激发他们学习英语的兴趣。

四、培养孩子重视英语。监督孩子带好英语教材和必需用品,从家长的角度重视英语学习,也帮助孩子养成好的学习习惯,回家后对当天所教学内容也要及时复习巩固;其次在家里多让孩子听录音,看英语光盘等,注意光盘磁带必须是正版的,给孩子营造一定的学习环境,如能每天坚持;再次,让孩子在家里大声朗读英语,特别是跟着光盘磁带模仿正确的语音语调。

五、培养孩子学习英语的兴趣。其实学习英语是一个长期坚持的过程,谁坚持得好,谁的英语就棒!特别是到了高年级,随着英语难度的增加,孩子的畏难情绪越浓,学习英语的兴趣就会降低,因此,在这个时候,家长和教师都要鼓励孩子坚持下去,让孩子对学习有一个持久的内在的兴趣。

本学期开学至今,班级的学习气氛很浓,各科教学都紧张而有序地进行。因为进入五年级了,各科学习任务都很重,时间都很紧,孩子们都很辛苦,鉴于这种情况,我们也开展了一系列的活动,参加了学校的广播赛,我们班荣获了五六年级组第二名,因为去年是四年级和三年级比,我们很轻松地拿了,而这次是和六年级比,有难度,但令人欣慰的是孩子们都很努力,为了班级的荣誉,苦练动作,得了第二,实在不简单。另外,还开展了“庆祝抗日胜利60”及“人了不起”的中队活动。我还给孩子们每小组拍了一张合照,贴在他们小组合作自己亲手做的像框里,这样不仅可以培养他们的合作能力,还可以增强他们的集体荣誉感。还搞了手抄小报的活动,四人一小组,设计并创作一张手抄小报,同学们兴致都很高,美编,文字,排版,分工明确,合作意识很强。

为了适应大环境,本学期的英语教材更换了,大家都知道换成了牛津小学英语,我们五年级用的是5a,这套教材应该是三年级开始从3a逐步学起的,由于种种原因,当时我们学的是新标准英语,那也就是说我们过去3a到4b的四册内容都没学过,而一下子要孩子接触5a,而且拒有关专家讲,从4b到5a的跨度非常大,是所有牛津小学英语中册与册之间跨度的,书中绝大多数都是长句子,语法知识也很多,而且以前的教材对于写的要求也不高,考查的力度也不大,鉴于以上这些情况,因此本次期中考试的成绩整体都不理想,值得高兴的是我们班的浦睿同学考了全年级英语分97分。孩子们次接触这样的教材,这样的题型,这次试卷又有些偏,因为我们以前的教材只有我们学校用,所以试卷都是老师自己出,而且也没有范围,因此,看起来普遍成绩都很好。

其实这次考试不太理想也许是件好事,一方面可以对孩子有点触动,另一方面也可以使我们了解到新教材与就教材之间的异,而更好地为以后的教学服务。这次的考试包括以后的月考,期中期末考都不再是老师自己出卷了,而且题型不是一成不变的,英语这门学科和语数不一样的地方在于它的灵活多变性,它的题型可以千变万化,但它的变化总是建立在一个不变的基础上的,那就是这些基础知识:单词,短语,句型。一旦基础的东西掌握了,不管它怎么变,万变不离其宗。

曾经有家长打电话问我他孩子的英语基础怎么办,我的回答很简单,“只要他跟着我的步子走,按照我的要求做,问题不大!”我的回答很简单,可真的做起来不那么容易哦!有些家长就深深地体会到英语这个学科只要孩子用心,学习效果是很明显的,只要他背了记了,效果就出来了,可能由于有些家长还没有意识到英语在考试中的地位而对这一学科有所忽略,现在,我想告诉各位,小升初的考试,好一些的中学,比如:__中学,__中学等都要求考英语,而且扬中是要把英语分数纳入总分计算的,所以,目前的形势决定了英语学科的重要性,请各位家长务必重视英语这一学科,你们思想上重视了,无形中也给孩子以熏陶,重视与不重视肯定是完全不同的,在学校肯定是抓得很紧,中午休息时间,晚自习前后甚至早晨全都用来给孩子补课。

My desk-mate was a natural athlete. She said to me, “I couldn’t run that race in your place, because I’ve signed up for three s already.” Other athletic girls of the class said the same.

I was utterly dumbfounded. 1500 meters! Running against the best runners from other classes! And in front of students of the entire school! It would be the worst nightmare I’d r he!

记得刚刚走上工作岗位的我曾经信心百倍,认为小学英语教学应该是很简单的事情,不就是听、说、读、写嘛,没什么难的,但真正开始教学,真正开始接触学生之后,我才感觉到:小学英语教学尤其是我们农村学生的英语教学真是坎坷难行。教学一开始我就遇到了种.种问题。有一大部分学生在潜意识本没有把英语当一回事,有些学生甚至有抵触的情绪。从家庭上看,我们的学生家庭大部分属于农村家庭,英语没有被受到重视,再加上家长能听懂英语的少之又少,更别说辅导了。从环境上来看,学生除了课堂上短短的40分钟外,基本上就没有使用英语的环境了,放学后听英语磁带的作业也有大部分学生不能自觉完成,再加上英语课课时较少,因此我的英语教学开展得并不顺畅。面对如此多的问题,我决定从学生的学习兴趣、学习方法和学习习惯方面去入手解决。现想从我的切身体会谈几点做法及建议:

一、要从自身找原因,培养学生学习英语的兴趣。

自己先要想办法,持有一份乐观的态度,勤思考,乐奉献。给学生一份爱,让学生喜欢你,从而喜欢上你的英语课。因为兴趣是的老师,当学生喜欢上你的课了,专心地听讲了,那课堂上所取得的效果不就事半功倍了吗?在培养学生学习兴趣方面,我做了如下工作:

(一)、用爱去灌溉学生。

首先用心地给学生一份爱。因为爱可以融化人与人之间的隔阂,给学生一份爱,同时你也会收获到他们对您的爱。我们要在日常生活接触中体现爱,例如下课后,我大多时间都会逗留在班里,跟他们谈谈学习上的问题、说说家常话或开个玩笑逗逗他们,他们会不亦乐乎。时间长了,他们就把我当朋友了。记得2004年那届我班有个顽皮又聪明的学生叫黄永樟,各门功课成绩极,经常不及格甚至低分,是让语文数学老师头疼的学生。可英语科他却十分感兴趣,能拿八、九十分,为什么他英语成绩那么高呢,原因是他被我“俘虏”了,很爱上英语课,也很喜欢给我拉家常。有一次,下课了,他走到我跟前,兴奋地告诉我,他家大母狗生了5条小狗,可爱极了。

(二)、注重课前、课堂中气氛的调和。

每次上课走来,总能从楼下听到我班朗朗的英语读书声,当我站在讲台上的句话便是及时地、微笑着表扬他们:“Youhadagoodjob,children。”在楼下我已经能听到你们朗朗的读书声了,老师真开心啊,你们读得那么好,或很自豪的或说:“哇,你们读书真棒,所有老师听了也对你们竖起了大拇指”,这样小小的表扬就充分树立他们的自信心,他们会很高兴,下次他们会读得更好。别以为这样的方法六年级不适用了,恰好这些方法我都是一年级,六年级通用的,课堂上也注重学生的学习状态,随时调整课堂气氛,使学生在一个良好的氛围里不知不觉地学到了知识。记得去年的六(1)班下午节英语,由于3月份天气原因,学生总有一种“春眼不觉晓,处处闻啼鸟”的倦态,那节课学生的精神状态,学习积极性不高,我想:如果这样讲下去效果肯定不好,于是我临时利用我班的搞笑大王叶宝彬同学做着火点,从他入手,我说:“Hello宝彬,howoldareyoutoday?”他被我突如其来的问题吓愣了,我顺势说:“我猜你有30岁了”全班同学一听,哈的一声笑起来,眼神都看着宝彬,我说:“看你今天上课的心态有30岁了吧?好,老师决定今天帮你时光倒流,把你变成3岁的小孩子,好吗?”这时宝彬不好意思的笑了,全班同学也来起了精神,他们倒要看看我怎样把宝彬同学变成一个3岁的小孩子。也许有的老师会说,这样每天浪费时间在与学习无关的事上,不就事倍功半了吗?我觉得恰恰相反,每节课恰当的气氛调节,是课堂上良好的调料,把他们的学习注意力集中到课堂上,那效果不就事半功倍了吗,总比罗罗嗦嗦讲纪律强多了,而实践证时,我也收到了较好的教学效果

二、抓好课堂教学掌握良好的学习方法。

不管是哪一门学科,要想有好成绩,课堂教学的质量是最重要的,课后炒冷饭,补的效果当然也有,那肯定会费时费力。在课堂教学方面,要注意方法,尤其是一些无味枯燥的内容,要找易于学生理解的切入点,要想方设法吸引学生。对于自己今天所上的内容自己一定要有个清晰的思路,课后及时反思。例如反思一下你今天教的开心吗?学生学得开心吗?学生学到了什么,遗漏了什么等等。同时对于一些后进生,课堂上千万不要丢掉他们,不理他们,不给他们发言、练说的机会。相反,要像警察一样时常盯着他们,与他们进行目光的交流。因为他们后进,可能有更多的听不懂的地方,而容易开小,教师的目光以及点名回答,一是提醒他认真听课,同时也是在给他练习的机会。

三、培养良好的学习习惯。

(一)、全面实行“一帮一”,充分发挥学生的作用。

为了提高英语教学质量,提高学生的英语学习成绩,我还注意培养学生的互助学习习惯,分小组学习,小组成员结成一帮一的互助对子,充分发挥学生的作用,例如做有关语法和时态得练习题时,让他们同桌或小组讨论:这题为什么这样做,原因是什么,让他们用语法或时态等说出理由,说服对方。这样既让基础好的学生所学的知识得到了巩固,又帮助了其他的同学共同进步,不再出现很的“两极分化”,可以说是一举两得。

(二)、课后补工作。

班里总会出现一些个别的生,不是学习习惯就是基础,教师一定要课后花工夫,进行辅导。例如我就我校实际情况,请示,同时得到校的大力支持,每天利用早读前20分钟,到三楼电教室给他们补课。让他们把遗忘的知识都温故而知新。我觉得这样做效果还是挺大的,原来不及格的学生都追赶上来了,消灭了不及格率。
