作为老师,必须清楚地认识到,孩子们的能力是多方面的,每个学习者都有各自优势。他们在学习活动中表现出来的能力是不一样的。此外,孩子们的学习方式也是不一样的,比如有的孩子擅长动笔记一记,有的孩子需要把学习内容整理为思维导图以加深理解和记忆,有的孩子就喜欢动手摆一摆,还有的孩子对听力内容特别敏感……认识到这两个不一样,也就明白了,我们对学生学习评价如果仅仅是考试分数,就和寓言故事里要求所有小动物考爬树一样不合理了。
二、改变评价方式
泡桐树小学“三减三变”的评价板块同样适用于英语学科:语言评价,星级评价,创意评价等,多元个性的作业评价方式。关注学生情感与能力的成长,将评价着眼于过程而不仅是结果;鼓励个性化发展,注重学生的纵向评价而不纠结于横向比较,让每一个孩子获得自己的成长的状态,成为的自己。
三、加强课程建设和集体备课
手里只有一本教材的教学时代早已远去,孩子们学习方式变革和学习特点变革需要我们建设丰富的课程体系。作为小学老师,我们也要了解高中学什么,初中学什么,然后再根据小学生的年龄特点和学习特点制定学校专属的英语课程。当然,个人力量有限,我们需要在学科专家和区域教研员的下找准方向,再学校团队或片区学校团队力量进行课程建设和集体备课。课程建设方面,以部编版教材为基础,辅以口语课程、绘本课程、戏剧课程、中华特色文化课程、steam课程等;集体备课方面,可以从“大”和“小”两处入手,“大”是指各年段整体学习内容框架整理、单元主题意义挖掘、单元梯度课程设计等;“小”是指具体的课堂措施,比如老师们可以分享高效、趣味的授课工具,共享自制的新颖创意的教具,共同设计同伴互助、小组共学活动,共同设计有趣又能发展学生思维的英语小游戏等等。
四、创新作业设计
“双减”前,小学英语学科的书面作业基本都是在校完成,听读作业在家完成,这一点“双减”后没有变化。但书面作业的设计应优化,比如:挖掘课本与生活的联结,设计内容丰富的综合性作业,以小组合作的形式,由老师指导在校内完成;开展英语学科特色活动,如英语歌曲演唱、英语绘本阅读、讲英语故事等,以社团形式由老师指导在校内进行。
总之,“双减”对课堂教学的质量提出更高要求,对老师的专业素养和综合素养提出更高要求,我们一线老师要如“青羊教育”所提倡的那样——“做教育教学的研究者”“课堂提质的探索者”,激发学生学习兴趣,探索现代高效课堂改革。
